Tuesday, Dell Technologies launched in India the Alienware m18, Alienware x16 R1, Inspiron 16, and Inspiron 16 2-in-1 laptops. All laptops feature Intel Core processors of up to the 13th generation. The gaming laptops in the Alienware series feature a new Legend 3.0 design and cooling technology known as Cryo-Tech with a new vapour chamber for improved ventilation. The Alienware workstations introduced at CES 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-series graphics processing units. The new Inspiron laptops feature WiFi 6E technology and Dolby Atmos spatial audio support. The Inspiron 16 2-in-1 incorporates a hinge that rotates a full 360 degrees.

The Dell Alienware m18 begins at Rs. 3,59,990 in India, while the Alienware x16 R1 begins at Rs. In contrast, the Inspiron 16 begins at Rs. 77,990, whereas the Inspiron 16 convertible notebook begins at Rs. All models will be sold in Dell Exclusive Stores, Dell.com, large format retail stores, and multibrand outlets.

The Dell Alienware m18 is available in a Dark Metallic Moon aluminum finish. In contrast, the Alienware x16 R1 is available in a Lunar Silver hue. The Inspiron 16 is available in Platinum Silver and Dark River Blue, whereas the Inspiron 16 2-in-1 comes in Platinum Silver.

As announced at CES 2023 in February, the Alienware m18 and Alienware x16 R1 run Windows 11 and are equipped with up to a 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics. They feature a new Legend 3.0 design and QHD+ (1,600 x 2,560 pixel) displays with 300 nits of luminance, a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and Dolby Vision certification.

The Alienware m18 has an 18-inch screen, while the Alienware x16 R1 has a 16-inch display. Additionally, the devices support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth. They include a Webcam with full-HD resolution and Windows Hello IR support. The Alienware x16 R1 contains six speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Dell's new gaming laptops feature a cryo-tech cooling system with an expanded vapour chamber and four blowers for thermal management. A Cherry MX mechanical keyboard with AlienFX per-key RGB LED illumination is also included. They provide expandable DDR5 memory.

The Dell Alienware m18 is powered by a 97Wh battery, whereas the Alienware x16 R1 has a 90Wh battery. Each is compatible with a 330W power adapter.

The new Dell Inspiron 16, Inspiron 16 2-in-1 laptops are propelled by up to 13th Generation Intel Core i7 processors and run Windows 11 Home. The Inspiron 16 can be configured with the Nvidia GeForce MX550 GPU in addition to the integrated Intel graphics. Each model has a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and ComfortView Plus support for reduced blue-light emissions.

Dell's Inspiron 16 laptop features an ultra-HD+ (3,840 x 2,400-pixel) display with 400 nits of peak brightness, whereas the convertible model's non-touch anti-glare display has 250 nits of peak brightness. They have speakers equipped with the Dolby Atmos audio system.

Both the Inspiron 16 and Inspiron 16 2-in-1 include 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state storage. The devices also support Wi-Fi 6E. Due to the 360-degree hinge, the convertible laptop can be used as a tablet.

The Inspiron 16 has an 86Wh battery, while the Inspiron 16 2-in-1 has a 54Wh battery.
